The Scott Mcclure Story

St. Paul Automotive began with a dream. Our founder, Scott McClure, discovered his passion early in life through a love of anything automotive. This led to a career in auto repair, where his talents got recognized quickly as he was marked a “gifted mechanic.” Hoping to leave his own mark, he set his sights on opening his own business.

In 1998, Scott took over ownership of Olsen’s Randolph Station and turned it into a state-of-the-art auto repair shop: St. Paul Automotive. Scott got to work building a business the community could trust through excellent repair and customer service. He knew his customers, and his customers knew him. Outside of working hours, Scott continued to support the community by hosting car clubs, helping the local tech schools with their curriculum, and donating gift certificates to fundraisers and nonprofits.

In May of 2022, we lost our leader, but we continue to uphold the values Scott instilled. He was the face of the business, and we will miss him greatly as we continue by his example.

Scott’s legacy lives on in our excellent care for cars and people, and how we always strive to do right by our customers. Our team’s hard work turned St. Paul Automotive into a staple of the community, and we continue to do our best to make Scott proud.
